Mslexia have a poetry pamphlet competition I'd like to enter. I'm writing some poems about nineteenth century women and the work they did. Currently working on a poem about Anna Parnell, the sister of James Stewart Parnell.

Today, she'd be completely one of the women demanding equal opportunites with men. She wrote an article called From the Guilded Cage, about how she sat in the Ladies' Gallery in the House of Parliament to watch her brother give his speeches. How frustrated she must have been!
